Wow, lots of you, ya?

I'm an American-Filipino. Born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in Queens. Been to the Philippines 3 times - '96, '04, and '07. I'll be going over again in Nov. for my honeymoom - I CANNOT WAIT!

What do you guys think about traveing with a Rolex? I'm going to be receiving one as a wedding gift and would like to use it, but am somewhat hesitant.

Gar- almost everyone with some money in the Phil wear a Rolex, even some beat cops wear one. I wore mine everyday and other high end pieces and no one ever bothered me, and I was in Manila the whole time. Check out the hotel clerks, you'll likely see a couple of them wearing a Rollie.

Congratulations on your honeymoon!

Chicken head, guys!

Actually, I've never tried it either.

Just thought of dropping some names my dad and uncle tried when they went home last Christmas.

FWIW I've had adidas and day old chick. I'll be trying the helmet next time.

Please don't wear your rollie or any other high end watches if your means of travel would involve public utility vehicles.
