That is a great picture!
In my mind, the black stick dial is slightly more sporty than the white or silver, and the contrast with that bezel is just great, since it brings it back to elegance again. A lovely combination with a business suit. A perfect blend of elegance and attitude. A 116234 like yours, but perhaps on the very fine superjubilee, would be a most welcome addition to my collection. This was my choice today: Best, A |

The late great Winston Churchill wore a Rolex jubilee pink gold Datejust. And, a Happy Hanukkah to everybody too.

Is there a Black,White Or Silver dial DJ that has luminous batons and the roulette date?
Could you, if possible, include the model numbers :) Thank you

Tony, yes it's the 36 mm DJ. I bought after having owned the DJII (41 mm) but it was too big for me, so now the DJ 36 mm is on my wrist
You asked for more pics so here you go ... Ciao Engi |

This was my first Rolex, a 16030 DJ purchased pre-owned in 1992. I wore it everyday, everywhere for the first 15 years of ownership. Then, a couple of professional models made it into the collection, but it still sees wrist time.

Engi
That watch looks superb and I liked the look so much that I have managed to locate one to take a look at :) It looks the perfect size on the wrist, may I ask what size your wrist is? Also I would be grateful if you could advice me, if Rolex have now stopped placing their serial numbers on the inside of the case at the 6 o'clock position and instead now have it located on the case between the lugs again at 6 o'clock position? The last time that I owned a Rolex it was located inside the case. Thank you and a very Merry Christmas to you and your family. Regards Tony

Beautiful.
I've always liked Tuxedo and white dials. And a pie pan...adding to my bucket list. So many nice DJs...so little coin. Yet, how cool to see the nice pieces of the Rolex brethren being cared for. |

Requesting more pics.. Maybe already somewhere and I've missed it. How about the 36mm & 41mm both on your wrist, simultaneously, for scale comparison. Thanks in advance if ya can do that. Cheers... |
