Have owned one since 1977 - 16th birthday present.

No date. Who needs a date bubble on a diver's watch?

The perfect watch. My son is getting it for his 16th birthday in three years.

The more I see this watch, the more I want it. Great tradition, I plan on doing the same thing for my son for either high school or college graduation however, I wonder what the price for the 114060 in 12-16 years?

Coffee and 114060.

Too much coffee - and still 114060. However, can't have too much 114060.

First watch purchase in 26 years (when I got the Air-King-Date). A long and internally traumatic decision process came to an end this afternoon when this one arrived.

Got home peeled off all the stickers I could find and put it on. Had to race out the door to go to band practice with no time to absorb it. Now I'm home and can stare at it for awhile. You can lose yourself in the dial; you don't need Gregorian monks chanting or whales calling to meditate or relax with a new Sub, just stare at the black and fall into it.

Looking forward to making some memories.

James, from Western Australia

PS. Anyone thinking about a Subc but wondering about fat lugs on all the pics as I did, stop worrying, on the wrist, they work perfectly.

Remember your post some months ago weighing up this purchase, congrats on a great decision and your stunning SubC!

👍 Thanks! It is stunning but you wouldn't know it from my photo, possibly the worst watch pic in the forum history. I really need to develop that skill before I attempt the pointing shot. 😃

Hi all!

Picked up my SubC ND about two months ago from DavidSW and couldn't be happier. One question for fellow 114060 owners - does looking at the dial for prolonged periods of time cause you to think that something isn't aligned properly? Sometimes I think it's the bezel (one click over to the left misaligned) and sometimes I think it's the dial, although in that case the minute markers line up with the rehaut letters perfectly, so I'm not sure.

So many things are throwing me off that I'm not sure what to do. I plan on taking it to a Tourneau this weekend as the watch is still under warranty. Maybe they can figure it out. For now here's a semi-decent picture trying to show any/all ailments at once. Would really appreciate opinion from the experts on this one.

It's your dominant eye - look at it with one eye closed, then the other - what do you think now...

Haha, tried that! That helped a bit, proving that I think the bezel is off by one click. The markers on the bezel seem to lineup as they should all around, except for the triangle and 30. Turning the bezel shows the same result for different markers at those spots. Hmmm.

Congrats on the first year, Kal. Seeing yours at our local GTG was a big inspiration on getting my own 114060.

Awesome picture.

I know there have been a slew of incomings for the 114060 over the Christmas season. Don't forget to post your new watches on this owner's thread!

Hi all,

Been lurking and reading here for quite a while, researching my first Rolex purchase.
This 114060 is the one I've chosen. Just pulled the trigger on one from a TD here, which should arrive next week. Super excited about this watch. I'll post some pictures once it arrives.
