I just hope AP makes more 44mm Ti watches moving forward. It's such a great material for larger watches.

Schumi is one the most successful LE watches they produced.

They were smart issuing it in three metals...instant success.

TI is great on looks and weight, but how is the AP TI scratch wise? I had a TI Pam and it scratched quite easily…

Gorgeous pics of the Schumis, probably my favourite ROOs. Just love that cermet bezel. I have seen it irl before and imo, it's the nicest material AP has ever used.

I better stay away from this thread before something bad happens.

AP uses grade 5 titanium.. id say its a little bit better than steel

Panerai uses grade 2 and its really soft

Yeah it was really like butter, that's why I was hesitating when I hear of Ti watches but might change my mind, these are too big for me but they might make another model closer to my acceptable standards, even if these have considerably widened recently

The grade 5 titanium buckle of AP also scratches like butter. Too bad.

Stupid question, what's "cermet"? Is it a kind of ceramic?

Ceramic + Metallic materials combined = Cermet.
