Just put a new battery in my kinetic Scuba yesterday.

The rotor was easy to remove but those battery clip screws are tiny and fitting the insulator was ........ different.

I'm not crazy about the SBGE201's aesthetics, but it's awesome that you can read all 3 different times zones all at once (as opposed to the GMTII).

Back from service and a crystal polish. I dropped the watch and it cracked the crystal. I thought it was all the way through and planned to replace the crystal, but luckily it was surface only and was buffed out. The watchmaker also regulated it and it's keeping time very well so far. He also had great things to say about the quality of this watch, and that they aren't made like this anymore (for the price range).

Have been vintage Seiko hunting in Tokyo and have a soft spot for King Seiko. Just bought a KS 5246-6010 Special Chronometer. It is an astonishing watch - tiny, but punches above its weight with the solid case and broad, brushed shoulders. After 50 years it still runs at +-0. Insane.

Never been polished. Could not be happier.
