i see a little button but what does the button do?

Did you get a manual with the piece, should tell you. Depress the button using the supplied tool, slide out sideways and hey presto. I am somewhat shocked at the AD response you got since they size the bracelet on the steel piece for the owner on collection. I hope you were just unlucky on the day.

Now that my search for my first ALS has been sorted, and as much as i am enjoying my Datograph I find myself thinking about pairing with some different straps. So heading in to JR, and CF to check out some options.

I’m partial to at least a mahogany colored strap, but would appreciate suggestions for a 2nd or 3rd strap color, and would welcome some suggestions in terms of matte vs glossy as well

Thank you! The dial is truly mesmerizing. I find myself stealing glances at it throughout the day, just to appreciate how dramatically the pink gold changes under different lighting.

I saw the EWC listing — I am surprised it has gone unsold for so long. I feel that if people could see this dial in person, they would realize how special and unique it truly is.

I actually don't like the dial in person...so it's a very personal opinion and agree it needs to be seen in person. Lots of people love it...I'm just not in that camp.

No doubt you have a beautiful watch - love your new strap - I had an opportunity to try this on the other day - I'm still on the fence for my next Lange - I would like a PC and yours and the one below are no doubt stunning, but find myself leaning towards acquiring a gently used ZW instead as my second Lange.

I saw the EWC listing - i think the reason it has not sold yet is perhaps those that wanted the watch got it, and at this price point other options available on the secondary market -

Looks like Lange is releasing new references in a week. Any idea what they'll be?

25th year Anniversary for Dato and Lange1 correct? On their website you see the date set on Lange1 and Dato to 25…maybe a hint…can’t wait to see what they reveal.

Can’t go wrong with a ZW! Best of luck on the decision — it is a great problem to have :)

Good point about the EWC listing. Certainly that could be part of the explanation as well. I still maintain that if more people could see the dial in person, the demand for this reference would be higher. I get more compliments on this dial from strangers than any other piece in my collection.
