It'll only be a temporary problem. Then your beautiful ZW Date will enter the rotation with the others, and you'll enjoy it even more after you've had a break from it for a while!

Nine months after placing my 30% deposit in the Bangkok boutique, my gorgeous new reference 142.031 arrived in rose gold and black dial. I also preordered the deployant.

I knew I would never use the black strap so took a selection with me.

So so happy with the piece, it gave the giddy happiness feeling I haven’t felt with a new watch since I bought my first Rolex many years ago with a 15% discount for cash.

Time to let the pics do the talking:

Are you pleased with the deployant? Seriously considering one for my ZD.

My 2 cents ... I have deployants on just about everything. A beefy Lange single-fold deployant goes well with your Zeitwerk Date. Just know that it can be uncomfortable if the folded deployant blades aren't centered on the underside of your wrist. For me this requires custom-length straps.

I love the deployment on my ZWD, it makes it feel very balanced on my wrist and it is one of the most comfortable watches I wear. They are expensive but think it is worth the money. Some pictures attached below. Could not resist posting a picture of the movement…

Thanks for the kind comments.

I find the deployant fantastic, but I need to add a halfway hole to my straps to make it fit perfect. Will fix it on one of these cheaper straps before making a new custom order.

This is fantastic. I’m now on the list for one so just have the long wait until the piece comes.

Zeitwerk too big for my wrist. Hopefully L1 30th anniversary next year. Will be interesting what they launch.

Are there any rumors around next year’s L1 30th?
