New boots from Only Vintage in Monaco. Cost nearly as much as the watch.

Can't help but think these Lord Marvels are an almost criminal bargain. Incredible build, perfect size, 36,000bph - this December 1969 example is a little machine-gun on the wrist.

First post here. Found this among my father’s belonging after his passing. Finally figured out how to set the watch. Also I had to resize the bracelet and am enjoying it today on this beautiful Friday.

Cheers! After vintage Seiko, King and Grand Seiko shopping in Tokyo kinda blown away by the horological quality available at insanely low prices.

Had the watch just over a year. Bought the bracelet for it 3 months ago

Yay or nay?

Trying to find a strap that works with the KS 5246 - it's an odd one because of the size. The nasty black leather it came with has been binned, and suede straps don't seem to work. I've ordered a black lizard and a black shell cordovan, but they've yet to arrive.

In the mean time, I've tried a Bund strap and... not really sure. I don't hate it...

What do you think?

Great watch!

Nay on the strap from my perspective.
I think the black shell cordovan will compliment the dial and hands nicely.

Here is a shot of my Seiko on a similar strap. Simple and comfortable.

Post an update once you decide.

Thanks for the tip. Will definitely update when the strap arrives in the coming days. It’s a real bugger to find a nice strap for...
