I've never seen a day window positioned like that above 6 O'Clock.
Interesting that it is the full day too and not just 3 letters.

Seiko used this style on a few models in the 1960s but the larger three-letter 3 o'clock format is more legible, with about double the font size, and I guess it was discontinued for this reason.

Hi Luciano. I only acquired this one quite recently from a Japanese dealer and haven't written about it yet. The reference is 8346-8000 and it was produced in December 1967. I had been looking for one for sometime, and when I found this one in near perfect condition with a serviced movement, I couldn't refuse. I've been wearing it for a week and it keeps excellent time.
