Fully agree with you. Just got my OP41 Tiffany Blue from my AD today after one year waiting and before Rolex to raise price next Sat. I like the watch and won‘t sell it even market price is already 6X from the price I paid for. If it is a stock with 6X gain,I will sell it gain my profit. But it is a watch I like to collect/wear and for sure, will be glad to see it being more valuable but won’t treat it as stock or bitcoin to trade and make money⋯⋯

Congratulations. I take my hat off to your AD and admire their integrity. Some would have not let this watch go for retail given the ridiculous hype.
Also it's interesting that you received this watch today. It kind of disproves the discontinuation rumour somewhat. Enjoy your watch! |

This is starting to look more and more like the mania phase. A Rolex watch (with a face color that resembles the signature color of Tiffany), skyrockets in value because Patek makes a watch for Tiffany and Jay-Z flexes it hard.

Sure seems like mania phase. PP makes a 5711 for Tiffany and a Rolex with a similar color face skyrockets in value...

One of the most trusted grey dealers out there and someone from whom I have bought many watches listed one late this afternoon for $35k and some change.
It was sold within about 90 minutes. |

It will be interesting to see where the values go in a couple of years if you can exchange the dial for a colour of your choice at RSC while getting your watch serviced.

RSC has footprint, depending on what part of the world you love, but there will not be any that will exchange a silver for a turquoise -- no way. If they do I'll send you mine as a gift. This is not speculation, it's tied in their established policies... Same goes for many DDs and Daytonas |

They were stopped from doing any, will only exchange the same colour. In know this because I was trying to get my dark blue changed to turquoise (knowing the risk it may not happen). So now I have both after having paid up for the turquoise via grey market and am very happy with both. So I can’t see this changing in the future. Also in the process they kind of suggested this will be out of production next April, not too sure on this though

It was hardly a trouble. They said they would then they got a directive from Geneva saying to not do any. Possibly a handful were done before then

Interesting as its not my understanding from RSC London. They stated 3 years needed to pass from release of the model before a dial change, maybe the policy has now changed as it was earlier in the year.

If that was their answer to your inquiry regarding an OP turquoise dial change, then they were just literally blowing smoke. Hope that helps

I’d take that prop bet, but I wouldn’t want to deprive you of it anyway. What policy do you mean? As long as the OP has the same reference number, any dial choice that was available can be swapped into it (inventory permitting). That’s long-standing Rolex policy. Now if Rolex exhausted inventory of a certain color, it just wouldn’t be available - but not a policy matter. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Perhaps you haven't heard the terms Geneva edition - I do not have an exhaustive list, but those do include the olive green dial for the day date, the sunburst green dial for the Daytona, the Arabic dial glacier blue for the Emirates - Middle East Day date, and it will be the turquoise as well.. The bet is on. |
