This is the one VC model that I covet. I saw someone with it on the rubber & it looks great.

Dual time looks really good in Olive green and rose gold.

Agree the RG/green OS is something I could consider upgrading my silver DT to one day in the future. It is very pretty.

Wow that is stunning. Just wish they’d make it 39mm.

Is the 4000v Retro Moonphase discontinued? It no longer appears on the US site

I don’t see it on the Swiss site either. Would be slightly weird though, given that it was just launched barely a year ago at W&W. Maybe it didn’t sell?

If only they changed the red accents to gold. The red, green, rose is too much imo.

The red gold / olive green releases are probably my personal W&W winners this year.

The olive hits. Not familiar with the brand. Will they trade under MSRP?

Do overseas owners here feel like they're scratch magnets? Kind of like a Cartier Santos? I have a 39mm Explorer that's faring pretty well after 5 years and now I have my eyes set on a Silver 4500v.

After nearly 2 years of regular rotation of my silver 7900 I find the glossy Maltese cross bezel to be mostly ok, but the large brushed base plate has a couple of minor scratches, as do some of the brushed bracelet elements.

Nothing very visible and clearly not anyway near to a Santos bezel IMHO. It, is clearly not a pure tool watch as the Explorer but for holy trinity standards it is pretty much as GADA as it gets. Plus you get true 150m water resistance unlike the new weird 30m rating Patek just introduced.

In a month my bezel has several scratches—but I don’t let them bother me. Or I try not to.

Depends how you wear it, I suppose. I don’t daily mine but have taken it on a couple adventures/trips while wearing it almost nightly and weekends for a year. I’m sure there are a few hairlines around but nothing that catches my eye whatsoever. The polished bezel is brilliant in hiding swirls or scratches, imo.the class of the bracelet and rubber are naturally scratch magnets.

My bezel earned its first battle scar after two weeks of daily wear, including travel. It's irritating but inevitable, and in truth the scratch is only visible from certain angles under direct light. It's not a hairline scratch but it appears to be fairly superficial.

To fellow owners, is this something that VC can take care of when the watch is submitted for regular service?

Yes of course VC can do it. They can replace bezels also but don’t think you need that.

My local boutique even offered to take care of some of the minor scratches locally. I rather wait for the first formal service as the scratches are not that bad in the first place.

Got the call after a 9 month wait.
Currently prefer the rubber strap over the bracelet.
