Cheers,

New model PAM00932 which is very similar to 690. Looks exactly the same except for the hands.

Which Panerai are you wearing today...

We have to see the watch to confirm if it is the same blue as the present blue series. Also, pictures taken by a phone camera from a iPad. I suspect, the hands are gold too but just looked silver.

By the way, it will be “U” series limited to 388 pieces to be produced. Check out the exhibition caseback, the wave???

Thanks. Do you know the significance of a 388 unit run? It’s also a two liner as v the 690 one line by one line

I haven’t the slightest idea. Oh! The pictures were taken by a friend at/in Hong Kong IFC Boutique. Perhaps, 2 liner is more balance.

The 45mm gold version will be limited to 188 pieces..

88 years?

2018-88 = 1930

In the 1930s, the first Radiomirs were made for the Italian Navy, specifically designed for use under water.

88 years later, 5 new Radiomirs released ... All with a blue dial to symbolize the water / sea. They all even have an ocean/wave pattern on the back.

Have I solved the mystery? 😂

It has to be gold hands.. A limited boutique edition of 388 pieces with a blue dial and no gold hands? Sounds really strange

Or maybe they don't wanna step on the feet of the 690 owners...

@azcii

My thought exactly. As I said, picture quality and I do not have much information. Just wait for the release then.

Stepping on feet, well, remember 249 vs 448? 127 vs 372? I heard they call 372 the fiddy killer.

I just got info from a pretty reliable source that it's indeed steel hands and not gold.

There you go! Typical Panerai, subtle changes so that no feet are being trampled on.

I actually like the watch anyway... I think the steel hands looks great too. Not a deal breaker for me personally

Am not sure where their source of info or if Horobox has edited their pictures .

Since it’s out of the box now , I released the pictures I have taken last Sunday from the HK Boutique internal catalog on their IPad .

As a matter of interest , I have placed my order and was told it will be released this Oct .
