Ha. At the moment I’m considering swapping out the black Exp II for an Explorer but I still haven’t found an Explorer to try on so who knows. I love the finishing on the Exp II and think I’d miss that on the Explorer.

What finishing would you miss out on moving away from the Exp II? The Explorers are favourites of mine, especially the original.

The radial brushing on the bezel and the polished bezel edge both catch light and play with it beautifully. It’s part of what makes it special to me because it’s vastly different from the typical polished bezel.

Ah, I'm with you. That is definitely a cool trait unique to the Exp II.

Maybe you should follow the project set out in this thread - turned out great!

Just joined the forum but been a watch and Rolex lover since I was a boy. Great to share with some other crazy people with the same addiction! Would love to share a picture of the collection but can’t figure out how to downsize the file??
Just a standard pic taken on an iPhone. any help for a newbie?

Posted this on my insta page last month.

Here's the state of my current collection.

Hopefully by end year, I'll be able trim it down to 5-6 watches
I don't know whether I'm "strong" enough to get it done 😂 but am going to try.

I count at least 7 watches I would have kept.
