Can someone in London help me buy the OEM end links from RSC near St James'?
I bought the watch on leather straps and want the bracelet end links (not the bracelet) but they won't sell them to me without the bracelet.
I'll pay £30 on top of the end links to whoever buys them for me.

Hello everyone,

My Black Bay (Burgundy) arrived on Tuesday and I could not be more impressed with the watch. The overall quality and finish is outstanding.

I have just ordered a 1.4mm screwdriver to adjust/remove links as it too large at the moment. I have never removed links before so any tips with regards to the Black Bay....do I need to take a link from either side etc. Just for balance on the wrist I assume but again I am a complete novice so could be wrong. Got a Rolex AD to do this in the past and there were a fair few scratches on my watch when it returned. Thought I would take a bit of personal responsibility with this one and get some experience.

Thanks again and any advice is appreciated.

Congrats on your new purchase! You might also need a small pointed tool to adjust the micro adjusment on the clasp. If your wrist is really small, you might need to remove the last link on the 6 o'clock end down to 4links. wear in good health!

Wooden toothpick works well and leaves no scratches. A 1.6 mill scewdriver is the correct size but 1.4 will do. Just take it slow. Start by removing one link from the 12 side, then the 6 side if needed.

Hey Marc,
Congrats and welcome as have I said before mate.
The job of adjusting the bracelet is dead easy start with a small 1.4mm screwdriver and offer it up to the screws, if you think it's too big you can file it slightly with a nail file and you'll achieve the perfect size in moments.
You'll need to try a few times to get it perfect for your individual wrist and then micro adjust with the spring bar on the clasp. A toothpick works perfectly for this as already suggested and doesn't scratch the steel either.
That said a steady hand and some patience and it will all be fine.
Next you'll be wanting to change straps too

Found a needle with a rounded edge which was perfect for the actual clasp adjustment. Do you know I googled the correct size and got 1.4, only 2 hits came back. Hopefully it will suffice.

Re strap changes I'm considering the thumb tack suggestion on YouTube. Could spell disaster but I have them and don't have a proper tool lol.

I am seriously considering adding the blue to go with my red. I got the leather strap and am looking to get a bracelet. With the cost being a little over $1000 for the oyster strap, I might just get the blue on stainless and mix and match as I see fit.

Bergeon 6111 works a treat
Available on Amazon.co.uk. Changed my steel bracelet to leather today in two minutes.
Minor marks on the back of the lugs but nothing that can't be removed easily.

It was a struggle but I have finally managed to change the steel strap to the nylon strap provided. Yesterday I was fumbling around with my 99p spring bar tool from eBay and was about to purchase a Burgeon 6111 but really didn't want to part with £40. Today I got my head down, packed the watch with blue tape for protection and my 99p tool done the job. The strap matches the watch perfectly, very pleased with the two strap options, plus I have just saved myself £40!!

Plier type of spring bar tool works best if you intend to change strap on a regular basis.
