This is the only source article I could find referencing these quirks:

I bought a second hand 5167 earlier this year with Box & Papers and only realized it was this earlier model after searching for why my Aquanaut did not have Swiss Made on the dial. Not sure if I am lucky or unlucky, but I do love the Aquanaut. It's a perfect casual watch.
Lucky find......

First day outside the house with my 5168g, I think I’m going to enjoy this reference! So thin and under the radar!

How can I keep from beating this up? My 5524 is pretty scratched up but hoping to keep this cleaner!

Gorgeous watch and great to see one out in the wild, huge congratulations.

Mine is due in at the end of the year and I'm really looking forward to Christmas 2020 already!

I am very much enjoying this reference, more than I had expected!

I do wish that it had lume on the seconds hand though...

Gorgeous dial though and great wrist.

SO so true!! I have one scratch on my 5990 and it’s a beauty! Caused by a bloody door handle!

Zippers on leather jackets also slice through PM like butter... My 3998P has been a victim... One more reason to take it to the spa...

I’ve had this thing on non stop for a week+, really enjoying how stealth it is!

I did notice my first ‘knick’ though, right on the bezel I have no idea how it happened, I just noticed it taking the above pic and gave been practicing extreme wrist awareness!

Icon7 Thank you Mr. Thierry Stern.....!!!

Had an interesting conversation with Mr. Thierry Stern.....

Told him I'm a huge fan of the Aquanaut.......

Then he ask me which configuration I like best, rubber or bracelet....??

I told him I can't wear both at the same time.....

We then both laugh about it......

Got a surprise in the mail last week.....

He say problem solved.....

Thank you Mr. Thierry Stern.....!!!

He do care about his fan & customer.....
