What a great watch! Is this the new GP strap you have? I have the rubber on my Anthracite and was considering getting the leather GP strap. Could you post another couple pics of it showing the strap? Thanks!

Why are you talking about a deployant clasp - what does that have to do with anything?

Of all my many APs I think I have had more positive comments about this than any other:

That equation of time is amazing. Can you order it for any time zone? Thinking that's borderline grail for me

Yes you are allowed one free dial swap when you buy. I am not certain but I think it may be discontinued now. It is a lovely watch and very comfortable with a very thin design.

Hey Roger,
I LOVE this watch!! Thanks for posting your pic.
I called Clearwater about this question. You actually need the cams for the latitude and longitude you are in. AP has the cams of many main cities, including (I found out - Clearwater which is close to me). If they do not have the cams, they will custom make them for around $3000-$4000. Unfortunately there is like a 7 month or more wait to get the cams. Of course a new insert would not be hard, but if you want correct sunrise and sunset times, you need custom cams for your latitude and longitude (or a city that is at least close).

This video is so cool showing how AP equation of time is made and how the cams are machined. Teaching math and physics 10 years ago , I find this so facinating and this watch is on my wish list, if I can just get over the long delay getting correct cams (and insert). Patience is not one of my strong suits..LOL. I would DEFINITELY want accurate sunrise and sunset times.

See 7:20 into this movie for how this works

ADs do not have in stock anymore (as far as I can tell), I called around everywhere but you can buy pre-owned and AP with still change out the insert and cams for a premium.

But you are correct , if purchased new you get ONE free change of insert and cams. You would just have to wait a while if you wanted correct cams.

I learned all this from a 30 minute chat with clearwater HQ (and above movie).
