Too bad he did not do it with the 56-02 movement. feel like it would have made the blue sapphire really stand out.

so thin! looks great!

i think RM is busy filling back orders and trying to prevent their watches from ending in the hands of greys

I hope so. The grey market for RM is worse than Rolex or Patek. It feels like 90% of all RMs end up in the grey, whereas maybe it's 50% for Rolex and Patek. :)

Unfortunately, its more like 80 percent for Patek and maybe 75 percent for Rolex. But yeah, they are really careful now who their pieces go to...and they research the hell out of you first. But it's kind of cool because if they see you're a legitimate collector you could get a surprise.

Congrats on the 67-02!

It's become my favorite RM. Makes putting an 11 back on really really hard!

PS:

The blue sapphire is just INSANE.

A question for those of you that have the carbon cases. I have said no twice now to these cases and am hoping I can get an allocation for a sapphire or a metal case. I guess I am a little hard on my watches and think the carbon cases are soft and would get damaged easily. For those of you that have them, how are they holding up for you?

Pretty damn strong, and awesome at resisting mostly anything unless you really REALLY smack it against a sharp counter corner.

I’d much rather have ntpt than a metal. I can’t afford a sapphire lol.

I’ve knocked my 35-02 into a rock before with no damage.

NTPT is definitely a very durable and overall awesome material, and I just love the look of it in the sun.

Just take a look at the used 35-01s for sale that are 4 years old... they look like new and seem to be truly excellent at resisting scratches / wear and tear that would ruin a metal or AP forged carbon case.

When I had mine, I did manage to put a small dent on it, when I smacked it hard against a sharp metal edge. But the damage was really really minimal, and RM replaced the bezel for me at a low cost.

so yeah if you're hard on ur watches I wouldn't hesitate to go NTPT

Thanks guys for the reply on ntpt. I seems more resilient than I thought it would be. I have had carbon watches before from AP and it was so soft you can mark it with your finger nail.

No offense to AP, but their forged carbon isn't even worth the comparison IMO.

I agree, NTPT is on another level. I daily my 35-01 and the case still looks the same as day 1.
