You mean when you decided to get to start working right?

By chance, they can smoke on these things right? (I quit cigarettes, but I do enjoy a cigar once a while).

I never paid for the first class, always use mileage or upgrade coupons, and only on long haul flights, I fly coach when its domestic.

Regulations require all flights to be "non smoking".......

So even I cant have my Montecristo No.4 until I land....

Absolutely. it is made very clear as to what the rules are and under NO circumstances will we ever break to rules for passenger comfort/requests.

My boss is a non smoker anyway, but we have had passengers ask us but it is made very clear.....if they make a stink about it , we will have them removed from the aircraft , although never happened.

Thats a Manley Stingray integrated stereo audio amp.25W in Triode mode and 40w in Pentode mode.Uses EL84,ECC81 and 6414 tubes.Made in the USA.Took this pic at a high end audio show in Johannesburg. The guy on the right is Mike, the importer of Manley to SA.Sent the pic to EveAnna Manley, boss of Manley.I bought a similar amp from Mike a few weeks before the show.I have had several solid state and hybrid amps, but the tube amps, are something else ......

High end audio in the States, especially, are still vinyl and tube based.Stereo is King and always will be for music .. I have never and will never own a multichannel audio setup ..

A Wavac tube integrated amp from Japan will set you back $350000 ... !!

Thanks for the info, Chris. Great pics.

For your information, I started off on my working career way back in 1969 as a Medical Representative for Glaxo Laboratories. I worked in Bombay and was assigned to top doctors, consultants, paediatricians, gynaecologists, dermatologists, etc.

Some of our fastest selling products were our Betamethasone range like Betnovate ointment and Betnelan tablets.

We were given 3 months rigorous training by Glaxo and became like half doctors by the time we finisihed!!

The medical rep has a tough job sometimes .... The Anaesthesia reps have to meet me in theatre and I'm not always in my best mood, especially when doing big cases (open heart procedures) ...They do understand the circumstances ,though ...

What is it? And was it some kind of award?

Me and Paul Newman at Daytona:

LMAO - its really John Brozek (author of The Rolex Report) with Newman!

However, I DO want you to take a close look at the Daytona that Brozek is wearing in the above photo. Look familiar???

Here's a recent photo of me (left) with Mark (author of this thread and the founder of TRF - his photo).

BTW, I am exactly 6 feet tall, so you can see how tall Mark is.

This is the only picture I have. It is 2 of my friends and I at her apartment just goofing around. This was after a night at the bars, we are standing on her counter (that's why are heads are tilted cause of the ceiling)

You can see the DJ

And heres me, the same night. I don't smoke, I was making fun of my friends that do!

My eyes are actually open in this pic

The one on the left is really pretty, its just a bad pic. I had another one, but the one in the middle had an EXTREMELY bad pic. So I opted for this one.

Fun times after a night drinking

Mike
