Nice surprise this evening , my wife's friend brought this round today & said if I can fix this watch it's mine . So one new battery & old strap later it's on my wrist , I did offer the watch back to her husband, but he declined & said he hadn't worn it for years & didn't like it anymore .

Yes it does, but it's a dark blue (the GS brand indigo), not the more common light blue. It's hard to discrern unless in bright daylight, but somehow looks a little classier than the light blue of my turtle. I also have a couple of 1960s Seikos (Grand, King and regular) with Kanji day wheels and they are also red Sun/light blue Sat.

I meant to provide a photo to go with this. You can probably see what I meant by the darker blue on the newer GS. The other two are from the 1960s.
