I am debating which dial would be best to order but I am definitely leaning to what you have here - silver dial on RG case. It is rather versatile because you can have a brown strap to match the case or a dark blue strap to match the hands. Your thoughts?

I haven’t tried it with a blue strap, and to be honest it pretty much lives on the brown ostrich to this day. The platinum case is nice because it can go with anything, a blank slate. But I really liked the warmth of the RG. The blued hands are only really blue at a particular angle, otherwise they are pretty dark and neutral with great contrast with the silver dial and black indices. After perusing the thread, I think I’ll have to try an olive alligator and/or taupe calf strap next.

Regardless of your choice, enjoy. It’s such a great watch, and I wear it as my “work” watch in my home office during the week, and occasionally for a night out.

Can i ask you gents where you locate your pieces, especially any UK based poster.

As far as i can ascertain there is only one outlet, in the UK, and going through the process of introduction I’ve been told that they usually only receive two pieces, per year. Which, if true, old make it virtually impossible to obtain a watch.

Any UK member, who can provide some advice, would be appreciated.

I’m not connected in the Uk but you’re probably right about the limits.

I would suggest building a relationship with the nearest boutique outside of the country. Maybe stop in and chat them up.

Pretty much all the pieces are allocation these days. I’d recommend you start with a CS if you haven’t picked on out yet.
