Does this qualify? My Marathon Navigator on the supplied nylon strap. It looked a bit small on my thicker Natos. I probably need to get some of the regular thickness Natos.

Nato straps rock !
Mine just arrived this week. So far I have nato straps in black,grey,black-green, red-black, blue-yellow,german nato and buffalo grain leather. Love them so much. pairing with my GMT II-C and switching from one to another to match my shirts for daily working days. I will get more of nato strap definitely.. Uploaded with ImageShack.us |

Review: Dievas G10 NATO 20mm w/ PVD Hardware
Product: Dievas G10 NATO 20mm w/ PVD hardware
Source: Ordered from gnomonwatches.com Cost: $14.00USD plus shipping Review: Arrived on time. Source ships to APO addresses. Quality is equal to, but not greater than the cost. Material used is a bit thin for my taste. Looks alright on my GMTIIC, but would look better on thinner watches, such as Marathon or B&R. V/R, Michael |

Joining the nylon nation - best options?
I'm new to the nylon look but it's love at first site, what are the best quality bands to buy and where from. I dashed out yesterday and got a couple from the mall, but already I can see strain on the holes... Are there any with reinforced holes?
Thanks.... |

What is the right way to put a nato or zulu on? I want the loop to be at the top of the wrist, not the bottom, it doesn't look as cool in my opinion.

I bought a MARATEC ZULU strap and put it on my GMTIIC. I was surprised to find that there was barely enough space between the spring bar and the case for the strap to fit. I could'nt slide the strap through the openings to put it on, as was the case with my thinner NATO strap. I had to take the spring bars off and re-install them while pressing down on the strap. The 1.2mm thickness of the strap makes the spring bars bulge a little, but so far they appear to be holding.
Does the 16600 Sea Dweller have more space between the case and the spring bar? Does the Deep Sea have more space between the case and the spring bar? Thanks in advance. V/R, MM V/R, Michael |

You should use thinner spring bar just for the NATO use but make sure to use the original springbar with the bracelet.

A salute to the troops!!!
Been a while since I've utilized the ever versatile, extremely comfortable, nato to secure a fine Swiss timepiece. But lately, thanks to y'all, I'm lettin' the nylon fly! Anyone else sporting some nylon today????? Front and center for inspection, soldier!! dP
