Over time all will be fixed, tho do admire the attention to detail. How much longer do you think?

There is nothing that is sure when it comes to this matter. We are truly in unchartered waters with Rolex and so the thread will continue on to the best of its ability and through the dedication of enthusiasts until Rolex is proven to be on top of it. Maybe the 33xx will be the salvation Rest assured, Rolex is working on it either way |

Don't waste your time, Dirt.
This is the guy that tapered a piece of cardboard around the microphone, inserted the watch backwards on the microphone carrier, tested his watch in "many" positions, claimed the 32xx was a non-problem until he sent it to RSC for repair, didn't remember if he participated in the poll. Now he claims, because his watch is "fixed", the problem isn't around any longer and the thread you stop? I can help others, but I can't fix stupid. |

I do recall the occassion and the pics were evidence enough. The point that he has been around these parts for a considerable time is duly noted. However it may be akin to the janitor working their entire career in a prestigious learning institution and doing nothing much more than cleaning the floors, but i imagine the janitor would be pretty good at it As they say. The more one does something, the better one becomes That's all. |

1. fewer 32XX are being sold? 2. 32XX owners have simply given up? 3. Rolex has truly solved the issue? I sincerely hope the reason is #3. For me personally, I've sold all three of my 32XX and currently have no plans to buy another. Life is much better now with my DJ 3135.

My AK purchased back in Oct 2023 seems to be running slow (Around -10s/d). It's my 5th Rolex and I currently have a TT DJ 41 and a TT YM 41. I've never really seen this issue before with any of my other Rolex's. The other two are running within the COSC spec. I'm going to take the AK in this week to the RSC in Beverly Hills.

32xx movement problem poll and data thread

How was accuracy when it was new? I would get timegrapher measurements done before (!) you take the watch to RSC, just to check if the caliber has too low amplitudes or if it is a question of regulation (unlikely). Good luck. |

I did notice a small decline in amplitudes between now and the last measurement in October 2023. Posted one year performance of this time piece as a data point. Please let me know if any additional data would be of help and I will endeavor to add. |

32xx movement problem poll and data thread
Thanks for your reply.
The data of your 3230 caliber, after 1 year of ownership, looks ok. How often do you wear the watch? Only if you want to invest more time then you can repeat the timegrapher measurements. First after full winding (t = 0) then every 12 hours (0,12,24,36,48, 60 h) until the end of the power reserve. That can be useful to look at the isochronism. Every time all 5 positions, rest in DU on the microphone stand, until the next measurement 12 hours later. Can you show us a photo how the watch is installed on your timegrapher microphone carrier? Btw, the Weishi 1900 would have been a better choice w.r.t. to the higher displayed accuracy of the rates. |

226570 3285 manual winding
Good afternoon,
I have a 2021 Explorer II 226570 with the 3285 movement. Basically when manually winding the watch (from empty power reserve) there is no slight clicking sound as I wind. Other watches with the same movement have a slight clicking when manually winding as do watches with the 3235 movement. In fact any automatic or manual watch I have owned clicks when manually winding. My question is should there be a slight clicking when manually winding this particular model ? Does anyone have one you could wind and let me know what you hear ? The watch is smooth to wind and keeps very accurate time (+0.5spd) Thanks in advance |

I was about to pull the trigger on a (2019) 12BLNR this week before I stumbled over this informative thread (thanks!). As I already have a (2022) 32xx watch I went to my AD today where I have been a customer for 30+ years, so I trust their watchmakers. It is probably already in this long thread, but I wanted to share what he told me about the 32xx issue: they are made with ball bearings (new) so that’s the reason for the noise one hears when shaking a 32xx watch. It’s kind of by design in other words. He confirmed the real 32xx issue: some watches with faulty parts loose time. It's due to a centre bearing that is slightly off/slanted effecting the balance wheel.

Gave my 2022 124060 50+ full winds this afternoon and set the time at 3:41pm--wore it from then on and it is now -6sec slow and I know it's only going to get worse. I'll be making arrangement to go to NYC RSC and drop it off for service--as well as picking it up when it's ready.

I suggest you read the entire thread plus other posts on TRF, e.g., from RSC watchmaker SearChart (aka Bas). I also propose to get your 32xx watch (2022) measured with a timegrapher. Please report amplitudes, rates, beat errors after full winding (40+ full crown turns) for the following 5 positions: DU, DD, 3U, 6U, 9U. |

Yeah I know ;) As I am new here I don't know Bas but I will try to find his most relevant posts. I hope my SD43 bought from the AD in december 2022 is all good but I will certainly look closely after it's timekeeping from now on. Thanks.

32xx movement problem poll and data thread

The most significant footprint of the 32xx issue is too low amplitudes after full winding and 24 hours later. The 32xx amplitude issue kicks in while the timekeeping still is very good, so most 32xx owners can be blind for the problem in its early phase. Good luck! |

Appears to be a new day date in the teaser, wouldn’t it be crazy if it had a 3355?

Very unlikely that a new 33xx movement series will come this year, but one never knows. Maybe a new 33xx will have again 48 hours of power reserve? …. Very doubtful too |
