This is just stunning. Love the Fusia insert. Looks great on the radial. Trying to locate one myself at the moment.

16750 1985

I've been watching this thread for a few months now, time to post my daily driver.

This watch was in need of a service and came with the original jubilee bracelet, date matching the serial number of the watch, but badly worn and very loose.

I had it serviced and fitted with a brand new original Oyster bracelet 78360 with 550 endpieces (which I believe are correct for this model 16750). Naturally I kept the original bracelet.

I believe it originally had a tritium dial and that one got replaced by its current original Rolex service dial with luminova. I was able to find a correct original tritium dial, I keep it in the box with the original bracelet while I enjoy the functioning luminova on this dial.

But the best of all, it's original papers are exactly matching my date of birth; a rare find that made it impossible for me to resist.

Great SD - btw, there's no harm at all in resting a Rolex on the crown! I've been at RSC UK and actually seen the techs do that specifically to avoid scratching the polished side of the case on new ones. Not so important on rugged vintage, but the mechanics are basically the same anyway. These things are TOUGH. It's a screw-down part, and it's only the weight of the watch resting on it!?
