The owner at work wears a Timex Expedition. I rotate watches, but usually I'm wearing my SD4K because I like having the date handy at work. He and I have had conversations in the past about watches, including Rolex watches, and I think eventually he will come around...probably when the battery finally dies in that Timex! lol

Most definitely. I love my sub and wear it everyday. Well when it's on rotation. I couldn't imagine leaving the house without a watch strapped on my wrist. :)

without a shadow of a doubt everyday. Not really worried about what my boss wears. He wears a citizen watch but Lives in the Upper East Side in NYC with a phenomenal view in his apartment and travels extensively. If i could make it to florida this year it would be a big deal LOL.

Yes! I bought it to wear it and not to preserve it. Ironically guys who make over 700 K in salaries alone are the guys who look the most acting as if they can't "afford it".... How pathetic is that!!!!

Every day, rain or shine! My watch recently turned 16. I use its bezel every day. My husband bought it for me just before our 10th anniversary, before we had children. We had already purchased our home, and I had already made partner at my law firm, so we considered the watch a nice accomplishment, and also a celebration of a personal milestone. I don't feel self conscious in the least about wearing it to work. Now, if I was engaged in activity that would needlessly damage the watch, e.g. construction, that would be different, but keeping it at home would be out of precaution for the watch. I don't wear nice expensive leather shoes in a rainstorm, either.

haha that statement definitely has some creedance to it.

If you have an important position, but show no taste, it leaves a lot to question.
I wear nicer watches than most people where I work but I genuinely love horology. Not doing it to be a dick or flaunt it. I just love quality time pieces that tell a story

I don't quite understand what you consider to be pathetic. When people of means live beneath those means? Or act unassuming? Or dare to wear a cheap watch? Please elaborate.

I do. I find the only people that notice your watch are other people that are into watches. The rest don't really care...

I've worn every Rolex I've owned to work and literally no one has ever commented or (to my knowledge) noticed. Today I did some office exploring with my newest arrival.

Do you guys wear Rolex to work?

Yup! Been wearing Rolexes to work for the past 3 years. No one has noticed. Females outnumber males 4-to-1 in my organization though, which might be a factor. Context is everything.

Been wearing my YG Sub to work for a week now and the only ones who notice are the WIS types with their Paneri's....Breitlings.....etc.

The rest of the office has no clue, or is really good at keeping a straight face......and that is the result I was hoping I would get.

I bought a Polar Explorer II (16570) partially for this exact reason. I want to wear a lovely watch that I can appreciate every day, but not shout 'Rolex'. There is a bit of a stigma in my office environment about spending more than is required - the fancy watch, fast car, expensive shoes - and it is nice to fly under the radar.

The only people who notice are watch guys who inevitably share in the madness.

I would notice yours. I love it. Amazing piece!

And yes, nobody but WIS notice or care. I wear a Blue YG sub about half the time and maybe 3 people a year notice it and they are usually wearing a Rolex...

Come on...don't you watch TV? Any outwardly show of success or prosperity is frowned upon these days. One must apologize for their success .

I have a 16610 Sub and I wear it every day, people know I'm a WIS and have helped others at work with watch purchases but it's definitely the nicest watch in the office and I have a few levels of people above me. Barely anyone notices and the ones that do don't seem bothered.

Yes I wear a Rolex of Tudor to work everyday.
Funny I once had a co worker ask if I had a Rolex. I said yes.
The funny part is I was wearing a Daytona at the time.

I wear it almost every day no matter were I'm going. Work, play, church, gym, range, yard, play with baby etc. I frequently fall asleep in it.

My boss wears a g shock and thinks it's dumb that the wis guys at work own expensive watches. But we think his 30 acres of land that he doesn't farm are equally not for us. One of my higher up bosses wears an omega.

Add all that up and idk if it helps yo or not. But that's the breakdown at my office.

Nonsense

The CEO of my former company wears an old TAG and ill fitted suits. I would never dress below he's just because he's the CEO.

He has different priorities. He has 5 kids in college and at the time I none.

The VP at my office wears a Tag and he flaunts it whenever he can. I wore a different Rolex every day this week. I wasn't hiding them, but at the same time I wasn't flashing them around. He had no idea

I wore rolex since I was 15 in school. My hand me down air king was used at swimming gala's, sport days, clubbing etc. granted after a decade of a kid wearing it I had to get it refurbished, and then wore it every day at university and articles.

I have a larger collections now so that specific air king doesn't get much time anymore, but it's been worn proper in its 47 year history. Looks new too since the refurbishment, maybe because I grew up :)
