Indeed! One more way Moser is evolving beyond simple dial color changes.

Incidentally, the 40mm steel pioneer comes with an updated dial color too. And it looks amazing!

Someone in either this thread or the other long Moser thread mentioned being the source of the suggestions to Moser of a Mosaic dial.

I couldn't find that comment through a search but whomever you are, thank you!

Here's my Moser Mosaic on a Ming bracelet.

EDIT: Image not coming up. Maybe it needs a mod approval?

It is not coming up for me, but I’d sure love to see it. Those mosaic dials they did (in blue and green, I believe) were super cool.

If they get the color right I will absolutely be buying that. I’ve been holding out hope for a nice deep Purple Streamliner for so long.

Been wearing this one everyday. It is running approximately +5 seconds per day. “Old” HMC 200 movement. I’ll continue to track it. Really enjoying it though.

I do kinda like where they’re going here. But I’d have to see it with my eyeballs. And I still think it leans too big (for me)

Yeah all the same watch. One pic I think some neon yellow was reflecting off the dial so it looks even more different than it usually does. The dial is really cool though. Always changing color depending upon the lighting.

Got this promo email this am. Center seconds / HMC-200 I presume. Perhaps this is the purple? Although the feel the fire and roaring back to life references makes me think it’s probably green. Orange might also be pretty boss.

I was hoping it would be the purple dial but I also think it’s something else.

The H. Moser Thread

Why would they re-release the green? I’m not saying I don’t believe they are/will, I just don’t understand the thought process behind doing that. Personally, I really hope they do something different.

My assumption is they’d likely lacquer-ize the logo and apply the anodization to the movement bridges, similar to what they did to the chrono. I also thought I’ve heard them say before that they would eventually bring it back, that it was the base model and they’d prefer to keep it consistent (I don’t really recall though). Or maybe it’s built with the micro rotor movement adapted for a center seconds? Who knows. I for one am with you, a zany color and a concept dial and a contrasting seconds hand would be cool.

Yeah I would be down with an orange or purple dial with a couple of twists such as the seconds hand, micro rotor, small seconds, or a different complication like a GMT or dual time or something else unique. I feel they should leave the original green as is and let those owners have it for the unique watch it is.

Hmmmm, love where you're going-ish.... and this being H. Moser... two variants, orange dial with purple hands, or purple dial with orange hands. :)

Sounds great. Don’t the watches with a plum/purple seconds hand (not sure what the exact color is described as) have a double balance spring? I think I’ve heard Tim Mosso describe something to that effect.

double balance hairspring should become standard in as many movements as possible imho, unless something even tweakier is used. Time for H. Moser to flex. :)
