I read elsewhere (am I allowed to refer to other sites by name?) that VC recently instructed its ADs to stop taking orders on the Overseas until further notice. However, the assumption was that VC did this due to production slowdowns caused by COVID. Maybe this is true, and the sales rep just misinterpreted that instruction to mean that VC was discontinuing the line altogether. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

My guess would be the limited supply of blue dial variants is headed mainly to VC boutiques for the time being. Watches of Switzerland might therefore not be able to get hold of them. |

Tried this on today
and now I'm obsessed with Overseas. How this brand doesn't get the love PP and AP get is beyond me. This watch in person is better than a nautilus

VC are very underrated and undervalued. Just look at the price you can buy a gen 1 or gen 2 overseas at compared to the current version.....value! |

There’s a blue one in the case at a Bucherer not far from here, they’re still fairly easy to come by...

We need another photo! I realize the bracelet and rubber get most of the love, but really liking the dark blue gator strap too. |

My blue dial dual-time arrived today, and I am thrilled! I was aware, of course, that the watch lacked the hacking feature, but I was under the impression that it could be back-hacked. Mine does not do that apparently. For those that have the 7900V dual-time, is that the case for you as well?

Even the best automatic mechanical movements in the world, including these by VC, can lose/gain a second or two a day, even in the best of circumstances. So, the "hack" of a mechanical watch to the second just seems unnecessary, IMHO. You hack the watch, and 12 hours later it's already lost/gained a second, so what's the point? Not judging, just genuinely curious. And if the answer is only, "because it's a cool feature," I'd buy that! |

Anyone know if VC offers custom rubber straps for the Overseas like they do for the leather straps?

No custom for the rubber straps and they have pretty limited options in what's available..
I'm thinking of picking up the white rubber strap for my blue chrono! Still haven't heard back on pricing for the custom leathers Sent from my SM-N975F using Tapatalk |

Has anyone had to wait for a overseas blue dial? The VC boutique here in Singapore says there is a long long waiting list.

I’m on a waiting list here in Canada, and I’m told they can no longer order the Dual Time.

I can do my best to describe it if you like? It's a bit bizarre at first to have such a nice dial and tourb in a ss case but it's fun and casual yet elegant and I can't say enough about wearing it on the rubber...it's a really unique experience...light, attractive, legible, dress up/down easily. Still may have preferred it in WG or Platinum maybe but it stands out in my collection as something different which isn't easy these days

I generally love the strap, bracelet and rubber strap they supply with many of their oversea pieces. I prefer the steel
