Today we take time to recognize a giant in the world of watch forums. JJ Irani was a legend w/ an always present smile and kind word. True, JJ was not a fan of nato straps and made sure to let all know it. But at the same time JJ always showed great humor to "The Nylon Nation" even though he had no intention of joining.
RIP, JJ Irani. The Nylon Nation salutes you.

Another recruit here. I thought I'd give it a try and now I'm hooked. I love how it wears and I've had many more compliments about my watch with it than without. Sorry for the funky colored iphone pic

Since a new home, cutting down 12 3-story trees, and a new air conditioner have all occurred this summer, the watch budget is, how you say, strained. Therefore, I must get creative to satisfy my need for variety in watches. I will take a better picture later but this is a black Maratec Zulu that I had on a Marathon TSAR that is now on my Omega Seamaster. The strap bug has hit me and thinking about ordering a neat Bond blue for the Seamaster and a normal Bond G10 Nato for my Sea Dweller (both from Gnomon). Fun stuff! Include me in the rolls.

Permission to join? I've spent the past several months with my nylon strapp'd monster, specifically the past week on vacation at Norris Lake in Tennessee when I never took it off. It was fantastic.

Newest member to the Nylon Nation! The gorgeous "Bond" strap arrived this morning! I strapped it on to my Invicta 8926C! What do you think Commander Pierce?
