37 year old airline pilot. I have a BLNR and a DJ 41 “Wimbledon” with smooth bezel and oyster bracelet. Was offered a Sub Date back in March, but had to turn it down due to uncertainty from COVID. Hopefully I’ll get another chance soon. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone! And most importantly... good luck next year on getting “The Call”.

I'm 62, and a mortgage banker... I have a stainless datejust I purchased in 1985, and a 41mm Sub I got last week. In between I had a GMTII Coke, that I purchased new in 96 and was stolen a year and a half ago.

Datejust 116234
Sub 114060

By the way, guys, Gilbert L. Brunner just released the last edition of The Rolex Watch Book. Interesting read with facts, anecdotes, and lots of pics. Ordered thru Amazon Prime.

One thing of many I've noticed from the pics in that book is that the 114060 maxi case resembles the wide lugs of the 36mm sub of the 1950's. The narrower lugs seem to have begun with the 5512.

24-year-old working in sales operations for an automotive manufacturer.

Just picked up a 126334 DJ 41 Azzuro Blue, Romans, Jubilee, Oyster bracelet to celebrate my graduation from UNC Chapel Hill about 2 years back. I can't think of a better watch for the purpose and knew this was it when my AD sent me a picture.
