Forgot about the red on the dial. That generally bodes well for "collectibility" for anything Rolex/Tudor related. A reissue of a blue snowflake would have to be a Basel thing I would presume, IF they ever want to go there again.

I like it. And...since I flipped my Pelagos, maybe one is in the cards? I'll have to look at one in the flesh.

You're totally right and it's the blessing/curse of Tudor.

They are free enough to do edgy things that Rolex cannot/wont and it's paid off. I mean the BlackBay and Pelagos when they first came out were stunning. And this got them so much press it was incredible. Amongst my circle of friends, everyone has owned a Black Bay/Pelagos at least once.

Since then for me it's been a decline. Grabbing press through gimmicks rather then standing head and shoulders above the crowd. Imagine the attention they would be getting with a modern MN, a red dial sub, the Pelagos GMT etc.

Hmm. Yes. I do like red. It would be fun to see on a Rolex Sub again...but not a fan of the Super case Sub and I missed the window for Red 1680s going for < $10k

The 4770.00 price tag seems to be on the US web page, I don't think that's the CDN price

The more I look at the, the more I wish it didn't have the fake patina and was RHD. Love the red pelagos and roulette date wheel

Deflated. Great hype and conversations for a "meh" piece.

May it be a currency conversion issue?? Here is RK's post from Instagram this am. He is the head of Tudor USA. Says $4400.

Strange feeling about this. I was a bit unimpressed with the black Pelagos, and the blue is extremely loud. This piece hits all the right marks for me. I'm wondering why it's lefty only tho(?).

I'm a bit worried that it reaches the price range of a Rolex Sub no-date tho.

Destro means "right" in Italian. So, a right-handed watch.

It's not a lefty only. Destro watches are designed to place the crown towards the elbow - out of the way of damage - when worn on the left wrist.

Sinn's line of mission timers aren't designed for left handed people:

Is $4400 USD ND Sub territory?? I just looked st a nice used ceramic ND sub that was from 2014 and it was $6500. Think MSRP is quite a bit higher than that. I am on the way to my AD now to check this Pelagos out. Hope his Fed Ex arrives by the time I do.

Like the roulette date wheel and the dial layout. Only thing that worries me are my small wrists. The black bay is my upper bound- does the Pelagos wear much larger?

regular pelagos msrp is 4395. the difference is this one is limited so youll prob pay close to 4400 for a while whilst the black/blue pelagos is much lower.

I still think Tudor should have brought back a heritage model of the big block chronos.
IMHO, they have enough heritage dive watches in their line.
