Explorer 214270 mk2. Omega SMP300. I'm also eyeing a ym40 126622 and a dj40 white gold fluted jubilee.

One downside with this job, due to constantly moving to a new city in the world every 2-3 years, it's been hard to develop any long-term relationship with a local AD.

Eastern Europe, SE Asia, Southern Africa, Balkans. I'm in Afghanistan at the moment. It's hard to say. Every assignment and part of the world has had its up and downs and has been unique in its own way. Some of the most challenging places have been the most professionally and personally rewarding. Hard places tend to bring like-minded people to come together that work to overcome adversity. Some of the "easiest" posts have often been the most challenging. It's really what you make of it and the people around you.

If you have the urge to see the world, the FS (and intelligence community) is always hiring good people from all sorts of backgrounds to do important work. The benefits are great and you work with some smart people.

I'm 37, I'm an Account Manager for a large HR Consulting and Technology firm. I have one Rolex that my dad gave me when I graduated from college that my mother gave to him when he graduated from pharmacy school.

It's a 1968 Model 1505 Oyster Date, 34mm, SS/YG Jubilee Band with the engine turned bezel. The dial has the 'door stop' markers and it's the only one I've ever seen with a cream colored face... all I've seen are either a graphite color, champagne or bright gold dials.

Very cool good sir. You really need to start a thread of watches and street food of all the places you have been posted. I’m sure it would be a great thread. South east Asia has some amazing street food

216570, but shopping for others. I work for myself, selling final expense life insurance. Best job I ever had and I kick myself for waiting so long to get in.

Real estate attorney here, owned a DJ 126334 for the last 3 years. Now wearing the CHNR since a month or two and sold the DJ; I’m a one watch guy, the only one I would add is the RG rootbeer. Cheers

Always a pleasure to see a Ploprof in the wild... Something special indeed!

Great collection, full of memories no doubt. Enjoy it!
