I like it - it's something different and it makes for a very handsome watch. But it is expensive though...

i doubt if they let out a blue face SS sub... no way to "distinguish" it from the WG sub... i mean, of course there's a difference especially with the weight and maybe the lustre but generally, no difference especially to the "ordinary" man... similar to the WG daytona.. the red hands and some red on the face clearly distinguishes it apart from their SS line...

I think you're right, as far as I know the blue face sub has always been for gold or TT only . . . if they offered blue SS it would probably cut into blue TT sales too much for Rolex's taste. Obviously you can get blue dial SS in other models though such as the Air King.

Fantastic watch... Tried one on at Maui and it is a stunner in real life. This is one you can't fully appreciate through pics.

Love the watch, but not worth the money. Wait for SS!

hey Joey, saw your post on th WG Sub... yup! I agree... pictures do not do justice to this rollie... but with a pricetag of $29k (as you mentioned), way out of the budget

just really curious about the SS version... will there really be an SS version? connected to my previous post, will rolex really make an SS version knowing fully they will eat into the WG sales? i'm sure the difference will be huge, considering the huge difference in price as well.... maybe a blue face only with a ceramic black bezel or... a blue bezel ala LV but same black face... but i doubt if they'd do both! just my opinion of course...

Beautiful, at least from photos (haven't seen one "in the wild" yet).

Stunning watch. I'm not sure if I can justify the cost though.
