dont want to getyour hopes up... there will be no lume on the roman numerals.... only the hour, seconds and the baton at 9 oclock will lume up in dark.

another reason why there is a baton at 9oclock......

congratulations, it is really big, compared to the subdate.
I don't like too much roman numbers on Rolex because of the IIII instead of IV, i can't accept they change it to fit better on dial, without respecting ancient romans who invented that kind of numbers.

the 41mm DJII is not bigger than a 40mm Sub Date and from memory most of rolex roman dials has IIII instead of IV even on the smaller 36mm DJs

Quite right!!

The larger rotating bezel of the Sub compensates for the 1 mm difference.

If you place them side-by-side, they will appear to be the same size.

rolex has always used IIII instead of IV for their watches, so I guess you will have accept this non-change issue on the DJII.......

Great looking dial! I really love the Roman markers. I have the stick markers because I was looking for a deal. I didn't have a lot of choice....
