I think one should be careful with UV flashlights not to point them directly into anyones eyes, they can do permanent damage.

They need to be handled with care

DO NOT use with a 10x loupe!!

Absolutely. What you DO NOT want to do is use any of these (UV, Surefire, Feix, etc) and a 10x loupe with your eye inches from the magnified light trying to find that damn etched crown on the crystal.

Stevo, can you please increase your font! I am having problems reading the forum since I started shining my UV flashlight in my eyes....

why would one want to recharge their lume anyways.....that just sounds odd to me. Don't mean to offend but......

I use a department issued Streamlight strion LED rechargeable its only about 6 iches long we carried on out duty belt. Its messes with you sight if shined in you face.
