When you trade in a watch or a car-in the end the dealer has to sell the trade in at a profit...you can't have a great deal on both ends...The Tourneau in Northern NJ let's you look-but no discounts on Rolex...

FYI, Rolex.com doesn't show Tourneau as an AD.

Yes and not all Tourneau stores stock Rolex - the location in Aventura Mall doesn't, yet the location in Bal Harbor does. I guess because the location in Aventura has a Mayors directly across from it.

While I do respect everyone's comments; I think that the 'golden rule' we use here applies to T: Buy the DEALER, not the product. My experiences with T @ NY, Vegas, Miami (Merrick Park) have been terrible; BUT I have to admit that I have done very nice business with them in Bal Harbour and Houston. In both stores, the sales person made it; he was polite, friendly and helpful; unfortunately they both have retired and it looks like no one has filled up their shoes.
I have heard people telling me that my current AD is 'just ok'; but to me, they jump through hoops to fulfill my dreams. IMHO, a store name does not and will not guarantee good or bad service; the staff makes the difference, and it all comes down to one person, your sales man/lady. Opinions on T vary because they are the largest dealer (store location-wise) in the US, so they get a lot of exposure; but if we had a smaller dealer with 2 shops, one with great service and one with bad; it would mean 50% of their locations! In the end, I am not saying T is good nor bad. I would not buy from the stores mentioned before, but I would immediately if Bob and Allan came back to FL and TX! |

I also could care less about their rent, commissions, etc etc. AD's should learn to change with the times. If they don't, they might soon be a thing of the past. It is kinda like Realtors (no offense if anyone here is a realtor). Have you EVER had a realtor do $60,000 in work to facilitate the sale of a house for you?? I am not knocking Realtors. I know that they need to make a living also. However, a reasonable fee should be a requirement.

T @ 34th st and 7th Ave in NYC offered my bud $9500 for straight purchase of his WG daytona. not sure if that's good or bad. It was quite banged up.

Stay away from those thieves!!
Sell your watch here yourself and buy here from one of the many trusted dealers such as: TempoKing or Mosco (among others)

Get with DavidSW and you will be pleasantly surprised. My love for Rolex doubled after the business transactions I had with David.
