I like all Submariners ;-) But I really like a well worn early 16610, or a 16800 with matte dial (all tritium and no SELs). Those are watches you can see now and then, and they are often well used (and loved) by their owners. I like that.

16610 is the perfect modern Sub
If I had to choose from vintage - 1680 red or Milsub

This reference will always be my favourite sub (though I'd love a mint 1680 Red).
A classic watch at a sensible price. The only Rolex that cost me £1xxxx.

Hi all,
If the new ceramic SS model dont have PCL's it will be my favourite for sure! otherwise I have to go with 16800, vintage looks with modern specs :-) But then again the classic 16610 is not bad either, I have to say all! :-) /masterkiller

Of the current models available, it has to be the 116613 LN

My favorite Sub would be a SS Sub Ceramic with red "Submariner" on the dial, and no PCL. We'll see in 2-3 weeks if that's just a dream.....

My favorite would be a Sub 16610 from the late 1990s (late U or early A serial), since it has all my favorite features:
--hollow end links --lug holes --Luminova dial/hands --and, of course, the date! Since they don't come up much, I'd settle for an earlier 16610 with factory replacement Luminova dial/hands. |

I'd have to say the 14060M, non-COSC (cleaner look).

Im a big fan of the LV. I like the look of the maxi dial, plus if you pick up a black insert you can have the best of both worlds.

I love all Subs and Sub variants! (yes, that would include the YM)
But if I were to choose specific traits it would be: tritium dial (with a little fade would be nice), SEL, lug holes, and a little faded pearl to complete the look. Slight vintage vibe with modern comfort!
