Mine originally cam with the Jubilee shown on yours, but I replaced it with the Oyster type. Beautiful either way.

I was thinking if i can fit my spare 78790A oyster bracelet (since i have my 16710 on the jubilee) to the 79260P.

It is a bracelet with solid end links for my non lug hole 16710.
Since the Tudor have lug holes, is it possible to fit the 78790A to Tudor?

I also know that the lugs are polished the same minute that the oyster bracelet is brushed but i dont care if it fits.

Any help will be appreciated.

Tudor chronos never came with SEL as new.
My set up consists of a Tudor Oyster bracelet and 605 end pieces.
I recently saw a post on TZ Tudor forum (I think ), where somebody put a bracelet from a GMTIIc on a Tudor Chrono 79xxx. It went on, meaning he was able to line up the pins with the lug holes, but it didn't fit right.
Because of the height of the case on any of the Tudor Chrono's, you really need to get a non SEL bracelet and the correct ends for a proper fit.

I do not know if a 78790A fits. I do not think so. I am pretty confident that the lug holes are in the wrong place for the 78790, but since you have the bracelet why not give it a try!

I also got an Oyster bracelet for my Tudor chrono. It needs Tudor 605 end pieces for a perfect fit, and there are no SEL:s for this watch. You've seen kokota's watch with the all brushed traditional Oyster bracelet. Here is mine on Tudor 605 end pieces with polished center part, and a Rolex Daytona bracelet (also polished center parts):





The polished center pieces offers a good combination with the polished lugs, but I still prefer it on the Jubilee:





Once again: Congrats to a great watch! I dare say that this is the coolest watch I own at the moment. It has the wonderful traditional shape of the case, the very same hands and sub-dial pattern and typeface as the old Rolex Daytona 6263, and the same bezel at a fraction of the price, and with the proven and reliable Valjoux 7750. Strangely enough, not being a Rolex, this is in my mind the best heritage available to the old Daytona - and you can use it every day just for fun, without thinking of it the way you do with a vintage.

Great post, awesome pics and of course great watch you have there

I dont want to experiment with the 78790A because i am 100% sure that ugly scratches will appear to my shiny polished lugs
So i wanted to know if someone had attempted that with success.

I still have unworn the original Tudor strap (with deployant and end links) that came with the watch from the factory. So it will be great to try it on since all my watches have bracellets and it will be a pleasant surpise to have a chrono on a strap.

I thought the links were solid too.

Anyway, the leather straps w/ integrated end links [love those!] and deployant clasp [also very well made], more design elements coming directly from the Daytona, makes for a great alternative to the traditional bracelets. In fact, I have a new custom made strap being produced as we speak. More on that later............
