On YG or SS... white, well there is not grey in SS right now anyway... But in TT, grey/slate looks nicer. I do not know why, but I saw one in the flesh, and the combo looks good. Have not seen the blue dial though.

That slate dial pictured might not be the latest offering from Rolex. The wifey and I went to my local AD with that very watch in mind but I was first shown the white panda and then the blue dial. Before long my wife tried on a mid-size TT YM with the slate dial and fell in love with it. So I thought I'll get the slate or steel dial to match hers, the steel dial that they brought from another store was so bright and glaring that you can hardly see the detail in the watch. I ended up buying the white panda. There is an AD in Walnut with a much better selection than Ben Bridge.
