Also--to me it is by far the best AP ever made and if I only had to have one AP--you guessed it!
+1 - my story is essentially the same (exc that i didnt service the wtch as it wound like bew) I bought mine from a collector who had put it in a safe and who had open stamped papers (Canadian AD papers which was a nice bonus) - so as close to new as possible - but I did pay a premium I must say to get it this way -

realistically the best you can hope for fr this reference :)

Hands down my favorite AP!

The RB-II is most probably way too big for my wrists but boy is it lovely! Very sporty and original design!

i picked this thread out of the many RBII threads randomly to ask the owners or the in-the-knows a question about

THE CERAMIC BEZEL

guys, is this ceramic bezel the same "component" and "grade of finishing" or any fitting description as the one, say, on the Bumblebee?

i ask because i've read the FC has come a long way
and wonder if the same is true for the black ceramic

since the BB's ceramic bezel is just about the toughest thing i can remember on any watch i've had, i wish to learn if the same can be said for the RBII's?

Heru Mike Thomas and others
care to shed some light please regarding the ceramic bezel and whether it is of the same robustness as one would find in a BB?

a very old thread but apologies, as the pics on ths beauty are just, simply drool worthy!

i am curious about ti on roo. i have heard different things about its wear and ability to withstand daily abuse and still retain its looks - does it scratch, ding, dent more easily than ss? im assuming it wont take abuse anywhere near the leve fc would?
