It just didn't feel right with whatever removable link way I tried, even tried turning the clasp the other way round but it just wasn't right, even had thoughts of selling the watch but as I think the LV is great the fixed link had to come out.

I have the same wrist size (6.5") and I use every link that came with my watch. 4.5 links at 6 o'clock and 8 links at 12. The 8 link goes inserted in the last hole of the bracelet. If I wanted to scuba dive, I can make the bracelet bigger but it can never be adjusted any smaller. The watch feels perfect using it at that configuration. Give it a try.
I just remembered something, when I bought My LV, BenBridge gave me a SD tool and links. I am not sure now if the links I added to my LV belongs to the SD. I need to check on that. Can someone confirm how many links are included with the LV? Thanks.

You can do it also with two vice grips. Just lock each one on the outer part of the link and pull like mad! You'll ruin the link, but it'll be off!

I'd never have the guts to take a dremel or any other tool to one..... glad it came out woth good results.

Thanks for answering my question. I guess it probably comes down to wrist shape more than size. I'm glad it worked out for you and you said, the LV is a great watch
