If he was on the 'no fly' list how the hell did he get on board the aircraft

Great work by the police to recognise the guys name on the passenger manifest.

The guys actions constitute him as a mass murderer, it was just a saving grace that his plan didn't reach it's full potential. A person like that needs to be removed from society permanently to safeguard the community with significant deprivation of rights as punishment.

I think, because this is an international forum, that we need to respect the fact that muslims, buddahists, jews, christians and others all visit here.

None of the above mentioned religions condone their members to incite violence. I do not know one single person who supports these religions to be in support of any terrorism plot.

This is the extremist version, just like we have neo nazis who want to create violence. There is always a nut in every bush.

I, for one, hope the miscreant doesn't get life in prison. Why should citizens' tax dollars support his upkeep (it will be well into the thousands over his lifetime)? He was barely thwarted from committing a crime against humanity!
