I have always found it odd that people have no problem asking me how much my watches are. They don't ask about clothes, rings, bracelets, hats, cars, food etc (you get my point) but a Rolex = "how much is that".
I used to say "it's more than you think...but much less then the Dealer wanted" :-) The only way to fix this is don't tell them, prices are pretty easy to figure out if they are that interested in your business. At least I make them do the leg work now and take five minutes to find out how much it is. -Pete
