Thanks for sharing Cru. My Sub C is on order. I share in your enthusiasm, and I have not yet even seen one in person!

Looking forward to seeing them in the flesh as well. I have to say in the pic from the other thread, the green still isn't looking that bad.
Excellent write up! |

Great report, thank you
The salesperson was incorrect about the case though... the Sub C case is different to the GMT IIC case - Sub C has slightly wider lugs and a very slightly thinner case. Cheers

Great report! Thanks for sharing.
Some thoughts on the appearance of the green ceramic bezel: Depending on the light source (incandescent verses sunlight), the bezel will take on different shades of green. The majority of people will appreciate the full beauty of this watch as they wear it at work (workplaces tend to have flourescent light, closer to sunlight than incandescent), and wear it outdoors. The bezel is expected to react very similiar to the GMT Master II (with ceramic bezel) in sunlight. Many here on the forum are knowledgeable about this. I think the "Hulk" (very catchy phrase, I like it) is going to be a huge success for Rolex. They will most likely keep production levels down, which should make its used price exceed the retail price, at least for the first 6 months or so. If they mass produce it, thats a different story. The Hulk is beautifully unique in the watch world. I percieve that many watch collectors will want to add this distinctively different watch to their collections. Its design is very "Rolex", and it appeals beyond Rolex loyalists and into the greater horology community.
