I leave mine in the locker so long as nobody knows there's a Rolex in it. Otherwise never leave the locker unattended even if it's locked!

Well I take my watch to the gym usually because I workout very early before my working hours, so usually, depending in what watch I'm taking, I either leave it in my locked locker, or in my pocket during gym time if its too valuable to me.
So far so good and I sure hope I won't have any bad experiences! |

No need to tempt fate. I wouldn't want mine to get smashed with a racquetball or racket..I would never trust it in a locker, even if you use a Masterlock and it's insured. Lock it in your car., if its available, or in your desk at work.

"Locker? would you or do you?"
No, absolutely not! Never! Leave it in the car, or better yet, at home if you can. I always lock my in the glove compartment if I have to. |

Personally I usually leave my Sub at home, but if going from work or something I just wear it, after 4 years of going to the gym and lifting free weights, using machines and cardio equipment, I really can't imagine what can possibly happen to damage a wristwatch during such activities. Same goes for reasonable biking (NOT mountain), Kayaking, hiking, off roading, camping etc. None of these things are particularly risky for a watch, especially a Rolex. Would I wear my vintage Omega? Likely not, but a modern Rolex, sure thing...Because....SEE BELOW

Mine goes into the locker. I train at a boxing gym and there is no theft (past offenders have been "dealt with" sufficiently to create a strong deterrent!), plus it can't stay on my wrist for obvious reasons.
Having said that, I don't let people see me put it into the locker. I usually turn up with it in my bag, inside the spare pair of socks, and put it on after the workout. |

The local chain of gyms in my area had a ring of thief's going into members locker's taking car keys and then going thru the cars for valuables. Mine stays on the wrist.

Mine stays home.
I'm not overly worried about banging it on weights, but it does constrict my wrist when lifting heavy. In the Krav Maga classes ALL extras are forbidden. Greg |
