Y'all dress sharp... a Rolex has a way of stepping up even my jeans and t-shirt gear.

I am a big fan of last years Boss for the price. I own one Valentino, 2 Joseph Abouds, 1 Burberry.
The rest of my suits are Ralph Lauren and a mixture of no namers with great drape and 140s wool. It is more in the tailoring and in the Shoes imo...Now, you want to have a real conversation about shoes...then we can go on for a while. PAtrick

I'm gonna guess it's the same as a dry standpipe inlet... mebbe what they call them in England or even the east coast...

I love these pi$$ing contests ..........so I'll bite.................
We have a business casual atmosphere in my office. I wear my SD with the following on a regular work-week; - black Calvin Klein khaki's. - Solid-coloured Golf-T shirt of brands such as R. Lauren Polo or Lacoste. - Black Doc-Martin shoes. On other days, a regular collared Polo-T'shirt with Gap jeans and again, my black-Doc Martin's or even running shoes. |

Dry standpipe inlet...now I a even more confused. Is an inlet a vent? Dry meaning air, and maybe wet meaning water? A dry riser inlet may mean air is rising in?
It's like those zig-zag markings on the road. They look important but I have no idea what they mean! In the US we are taught when in doubt to hug the lines. That could be awful. |

I was staring at the zig zag so much I did not even see the pedestrian crossing until you just pointed it out! Wow next thing you'll be telling me this is not a one way road and they DO drive on the wrong side!

Herringbone and houndstooth were two that never quite suited my tastes, I'm afraid. The grey nailhead's about as far as i depart from chalk stripes.
A while ago I did work in a casual environment, and turning up in bermudas and boat shoes wasn't a bad way to go, but a suit's a no-brainer when it's 7.30 in the morning, you haven't had your fifth cup of coffee yet and there's lots of work to think about.

You've got a good point there.
I'm trying to slow down on the coffee.... which means I end up with a head-ache and wearing yesterdays jeans
