Heres another side by side to add to the debate

If I could choose only one it would be the 16710 for the five watches in one.
Sorry for the double post but the attachments have their own mind today.

Today I took a closer look at the ceramic as it is so similar the the new Sub. I prefer the bracelet on the Ceramic and do like the Maxi dial. With the new sub in short supply discounts are not happening and probably won't for a year maybe even two making the GMT C an excellent buy.

Can those who have owned both please offer some advise on which they prefer. Should I pick up a used Pepsi or get the Ceramic from my AD?

Any advise and observations much appreciated!

Thanks in advance, Mike
I like the older cased model best. While they are nice looking watches, the newer ones do not have the proportions I prefer. If you are seriously considering a 16710 red/black or red/blue, I would advise you to stick around here and get comfortable with the Idea of getting one from a trusted seller here. You will likely do much better than buying from a street dealer in most cases.

Food for thought........

I own a GMT Pepsi and really like it as my daily wearer...as for the GMTIIc it's on my list to buy. But if I had to make a choice for one over the other it would definitely be the Pepsi!!!

Would anyone know a rough estimate for a price on a new/mint Jubilee? It seems like a spectacular way to dress up vs. the more casual Oyster!

I recently bought a used one for 225 which was a steal. I think the new ones cost over $600...

Try on both and see which one speaks to you -

- for me it's the 16710 - I like the proportions better and don't care for the PCL's on the new model. I haven't found the right one yet, but I will here, I'm sure. As for business wear, it's funny; I think a Pepsi is the equivalent of wearing white - ok between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Other than during those times, I think it's an awesome weekend watch. I think this is true of the Coke also, but less so, as it's a bit more subdued.

As I said, I'm just waiting for the right one...

I'd go for the Classic and a Pepsi version at that...

I need to get one soon before they are $10K...LOL

Both are great. But it's nice to have the 16710 to change out bezel and bracelet.

The GMT IIc wears incredible, I hardly feel it when its on my wrist
