I think that younger folks tend to wear silver and silver colored jewelry... white gold, platinum, etc. So if you are trying to be "young and trendy", it may not be for you.

That said, 2-tone is far more versitile and can match with anything else.

They ALL look good to me, but I think my preference is rather obvious.

I still wear my Blue TT Sub quite a bit and I think it is the best looking watch (Rolex or other) out there.

Yes they are still in. In fact I wore my TT Sub 16613 with the beautiful blue dial just yesterday and someone noticed it on my wrist.

That should be determined by the wearer.

Still hugely popular. When I see a person with a new Rolex, most of the time it will be TT. The most common is a TT DJ, then, probably, TT Sub's.

I Am surprised to find that I love twoTones..

I thought that I was a SS guy, and still have a good number of stainless models, but the two tones just have that little more..

a subdued bling as JJ puts it.

I find the FG hard to wear..and can only bring it out when with certain company, otherwise I feel almost guilty with it.

I have two TT Subs, a black and a blue. I love them just as much as my SS watches. It's all a matter of personal preference.

That said, classic is always classic and nearly any TT Rolex is classic, so I wouldn't worry too much about "in" and just go with what you like.

Watches are fashion and are influenced by the times. Remember how popular " colorful " red sports cars were in the 80s -esp Porsches ? Now they are mostly in shades of black/silver/grey . Even Ferrari sells less than half their volume (in the US) now in red ! Hi tech materials in all manner of electronic devices we surround ourselves with now are silver/black/glass. No wonder to me why SS model Rolexs are currently the most in favor .

Outside of Rolex, I would say they definitely not in. Among Rolex, I see a slight return to popularity coming, but the stainless and silver-colored versions will continue to dominate.

Not I. I like the look of all-gold, but rarely wear them.

I'm much more likely to wear an SS. TT somehow seems neither fish nor fowl to me.

TT were never "IN" ... In fact Rolexes are not "IN" .... Rolexes are "CLASS" ..."CLASS" is eternal... either you have it or you don't ... You want "IN", then get a g-shock...
