I would keep it Green! That is why you bought the LV. One Caveat with this statement: I dont trust myself with changing bezels. Im afraid of "dinging" things up!

After wearing this sub for almost 1 week (oh yeah, went surfing with this watch already), I decided to keep it green. If this green fades, looks like I'll swap the insert with the black one.

The cool thing about the LV is that you can "have it all" and do either, or both. You don't have to decide. Pick up a black insert, if you don't have one already and go for it!

I absolutely love the 16610 LV and have it with the black bezel insert right now. The green is gorgeous and unique. I know this may sound like a hassle but I have mine swapped back and forth twice a year. I will go about six months with it black and then around the same amount of time green. No big deal really and it makes me feel as if I have two watches. In my opinion this is what makes it so versatile. Give it a shot and you will not be disappointed.

Too funny!
I agree with some here that the LV is a versatile watch and you can have it both ways with the black or green bezel insert. Some may even have entertained the thought of putting on a OEM blue or red insert if they were available to be had. Am just speculating. |

What is the process to switch the inserts? Pardon my lack of knowledge. I sold my SS Sub and rememner saying that Green was not for me, but I am starting to really like this version of the sub.

My RSC wouldn't do it for me (but some do) - he showed me how to do it on my Gmt however. It's pretty easy ...bezel just flicks off and insert pops out. I would advise you check here and online for clear instructions. I know Jocke put up a thread of a step by step process. BUT if you are at all worried (and there is some risk in DIY) ask your watchmaker to do it for you. It's a 2 minute job.

They're both stunning. You need to own both if u got an LV and that's the pleasure of owning an LV!

Well since this thread started over 2 months ago, does the OP care to share if he changed it to black or kept it green?
