Still Rolex for me.
There was a time when I was really in love with Pateks, but the servicing cost and turn around time is just ridiculous. Even if money were not an issue in your scenario (and it always is ), my patience only goes so far.

Shopping spree!
I'd get a Lange 1. They have a new one with an automatic movement.
I tried on a FP Journe at their NYC boutique. OK! I would have to get a Patek. Some are too small, some look dated, sure I could find one I like. I wasn't a big fan of AP's Royal Oak from pictures, but then I tried one on. They look good! I have a Rolex GMTIIc, a Panerai 005, IWC 3706 and a few Omegas. Honestly , I am happy with what I have if the lottery doesn't pan out. |

Whatever looks good to me. Of those listed, I'd pick Patek and Rolex...
But if money weren't an issue, then why not get them all? |

But the cost ? Too high ? I think it is pretty cheap I think it is 800 usd for a complete service (movement + polishing the case) Ho wmuch does Rolex Charge ? 500 usd ? Since the Patek is at least 3 times the price of the rolex I think the 800 compared with 500 is not too much |

I love Omega and Rolex. Sure there are better watch brands but Omega and Rolex make the ones I like most. I would therefore have my favorite watches made by each.

As for Rolex servicing, well 16 weeks' wait is what I have been told. Anyone think that's acceptable? |

My favorite watch is the Patek Phillipe Nautilus. I could have bought one over 10 years ago for $4000 brand new from an upscale watch co. in South Coast Plaza. I thought it was too much money at the time. Now it is $20,000.

Oh man i already have this figured out.
1 Patek 5712G (Nautilus white gold on black leather strap with moon phase and power reserve) oh and matching cufflinks ;) you can tell it would be the dress up watch. 1 APROO Rose Gold Rubber Clad (the beach watch) 1 116509 White Gold Daytona Black Dial (The evening watch) and my 116610 as a beater. (The Daytime watch) now if i was a BILLIONAIRE that would be a whole other story. |

Those will probably be very expensive complications or watches which were totally broken. Or really vintage pieces where they had to produce new parts, they had not in stock. At least Patek will service every watch they ever made. Rolex tells you to f@#& off after 20 or 25 years they won't service your watch anymore You can see the price in CHF (Swiss Franc) on their site www.patek.com watch maintenance service cost |

I'd go for a Richard Mille because the watch looks so different from everything else.
Awesome dials and details . |

For me it would be a PP Nautilus, an AP ROO and a Platinum DD.
I think those three cover all the bases.

No object? Track down one of the two the SS DD's. Maybe both.
Otherwise, I'm happy with what I have. |
