16610 black sub for me in 1991 at the cost of £1490. I still have this watch with all the boxes, instructions and hangtags and original purchase receipt.
the dealer offered me a zenith daytona 16520 at the same time and I said I did not like it, what a muppet... Now I love daytonas and have a couple Last edited by marke; 31 August 2010 at 04:25 AM.. Reason: Addition |

Sub 14060M. It's gone in favor of my 16610LV. Never parting with the LV unless for some VERY important reason I have to.

Back in 1986 I bought a new GMT Coke from an AD...I was on cloud nine. Regretfully, I sold it.

Mine was a K-Series TT DJ Thunderbird with silver jubilee diamond dial and oyster band. I traded it in for my F-Series TT Blue Face Sub.

I am a late starter in watch collecting.
My first rolex, unsurprisingly, is the iconic Submariner 16610 :)
