I have both, but if I have to choose one it would be the Sub. White EII close 2nd, this watch grows on you. These two are a nice combo (black&white)IMO. |

The black Ex II gets my vote...although I do find that in general there are more pple who like Sub....

I chose the Exp. II and would do it again. The primary reason was noticability: the Exp. is much more of a sleeper and doesn't scream "Rolex." I buy nice watches for me, not those around me, and as a bonus I'm probably less likely to get robbed for this one. There were a few other reasons as well:
The clasp fits my wrist nicer, as the Sub clasp is longer and thicker I'll use the GMT function more than the elapsed time bezel The Exp. II has a slightly lower MSRP and I thought I'd find a better discount on it from an AD The one reason I might have preferred the Sub was the triplock/extra water tightness, but since the Exp has 100m and I don't dive, that didn't outweigh the reasons above. |
